Pillars of Islam

Pillars of Islam

The pillars of Islam are five pillars; It was mentioned by the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - in the prophetic hadith narrated by Abdullah bin Omar - may God be pleased with them - where he said: I heard the Messenger of God say:

(Islam is built on five: a testimony that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, the establishment of prayer, the payment of Zakat, the Hajj, and the fast of Ramadan)

Faith

How the two testimonies one says: (I bear witness that there is no god but God and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of God), but the evidence for how to testify is taken from the words of God Almighty

(God testified that there is no god but He and the angels and the foremost of the world is standing in installments there is no god but He is the dear and the wise)

More specifically referred to as the “testimony of religion,” this pillar may be a call to Muslims to commit themselves to a core belief in God, and state openly that "There is no God except Allah and Hazaraat Muhammad P.B.U.H is the last prophet of Allah."

Prayer

Prayer is considered the pillar of religion, and it is the first thing that a Muslim is held accountable for on the Day of Resurrection. To perform five daily prayers and tonight, performed every time and in its proper form; And on purity, and the prayers imposed on Muslims in the day and night are five prayers: the dawn prayer, the noon prayer, the afternoon prayer, the Maghrib prayer, and the evening prayer.

It has been mentioned that the corner is the establishment of prayer. Because performing prayer only as a body does not mean bringing it to reality, for prayer calls for morals and virtue, for everyone who adheres to these morals after performing the prayer has established the prayer, and whoever performs it without adhering to its morals, he is not a resident of it. God Almighty said:

(Recite what was revealed to you from the book and perform the prayers.)

Charity

Zakat is considered a right in the money in special cases and at specific times. Zakat is the amount that must be paid out of the amount of money for the Nisab on certain conditions and for certain people. God is zakat on the money that grows and increases and these funds are: cattle, gold and silver, crops from fruits and crops, etc., and commercial offers. And the Zakat banks are eight; Allah Almighty made it clear in his dear book by saying:

(But alms to the poor and the needy and the workers whose hearts and in the necks and Debtors in the way of Allah and the son of the obligatory way of Allah, and Allah is Knowing, Wise)

Fasting

With the intent to draw closer to God, glory be to Him, and the time for fasting on the things that break the fast begins from the dawn of the true dawn until the sunsets. From eating and drinking, and things that decrease the reward of the fasting person from sins; So he does not commit sins and wrongdoing, nor does he commit deeds and does not quarrel with anyone, and every adult, sane, reasonable Muslim who is not traveling must have fasted.

Pilgrimage

Hajj is a pillar that is forfeited from the servant by performing it once in his lifetime, and also for the servant if he cannot do it; Provided that he believes that Hajj is a duty, and he does not refrain from performing Hajj except for a reason that prevents him from doing it, and whoever does not believe that Hajj is obligatory is an infidel, but the ruling on performing it is an obligation of the one who is able to do it; Whether from a physical or a physical point of view, as the Almighty says:

(And to God for the pilgrimage of the house from whom he was able to find a way and from disbelief, for God is rich on the worlds)

As for the meaning of the Hajj, it is the Muslim’s intention for the house of God Almighty in a specific time, at a specific time, with specific conditions, pillars, and branches.
